slamming into someone is not worth the time and effort to go through insurance and stuff... also if you have the time to stop when you see an someothing in your way and don't you are at fault.. if I remember correctly

Just take your time while driving perhaps, and I mean the horn is supposed to warn the driver, not annoy them.
I mean who knows what that person is going through, throughout that day, in that terms, they could be really stressed, and make an accidental mistake, and don't want to take **** for it, so they blame you.
I suggest maybe leaving your destination a bit early, drive cautiously, and enjoy the cruise. Whatever happens, happens.
I'm sure you're not a perfect driver yourself.
Good luck.

i was driving in richmond hill, i turned right onto this street to go southbound. there was a car in the same lane behind me, but he was like 500 km away. but then the guy floored it and passed me, then cut in front of me, missing me by inches. then he moved into a right-turn lane and slowed down.... and as i passed him, he swerved out in front of me, forcing me to move in to the other lane. luckily there was no other traffic around.. but what the ****! some people are stupid. that idiot then proceeded to race down a residential side street at what looked like more than 80 kph, running at least one stop sign that i saw.
i was just in awe that someone could do that. where are the cops when you need them? all the really aggressive and dangerous drivers seem to recognize their undercover cars too easily.

I think the reality is that you can't change the way other people drive, including those who drive poorly.
Imho, it's just a matter of not being distracted (and it sounds like you weren't, good on'ya) and keeping your wits, knowing that you may need to slam on the brakes at any moment to avoid hitting or being hit, keeping enough distance, etc.
Summed up: drive to the best of your ability, since you can't control the driving habits of others.
