Personalized License Plates

i have a plates that my friend wants.....can i just transfer the plate to him????

Yes you have to go with him to the licensing office and i think it cost $10 for a plate transfer fee

i went to the MTO at kennedy and 7.....the lady there said u're not allow to change the plates to anyone unless it's a family member

?????

that wouldnt make sence because i se people selling personalized plates all the time...i think i seen "TuttiGirl" selling hers a while back even...

I think she had an old personalised plate. She'd NEVER sell her Tuttigirl plate. Same as I'd never sell Gutro. I'm sure you can transfer it over.
Worst comes to worst. Cancel your plates, turn them in, and have him order them new right after you hand them over.

im selling it to him for a cheaper price that's why....if he order a new one....it's going to be expensive.....the price went up for personalized plates.....i think it's 260+tax before was just 210+tax i just saw it at the MTO the other day

I DON'T BELIEVE YOU CAN SELL THEM.

From What I understand pants can give to children and the other way around but you can't give them to someone that isn't family.
