A pet duck

Anyone have experience with a white pekin duck as a pet?



I'm looking for first hand comments if there are any.

and yes joee and chandler had one.

my friend had 2 of them...then one died...but they still have one...it lives outside during the day and at night it comes in the house in sleeps in a cage with hay and ****

^^ thats how neb rolls....nothing makes a jdm car more jdm then having a duck in the passenger seat riding along with you...

i had a little yellow duck, the ones that you get from school. They **** all the time and smell terrible.

ducks dont have a certain muscle that holds your poop in. Unlike other animals.

@ Kieran...why the hell not I got a dog thats always bored of the cat and this will be something to keep him entertained.

I have tasted Peking duck. I recommend them as a meal more than as a pet.

they got them from a farmer...and then this polish family had one too...after a year they ate it for christmas

they like to bite too.. my sister had one.. she got it at a chinese store on dundas/stanfeid. (beside big als)

as Matt said, keep it out side durring the day and inside at night so a racoon or something doesnt get it.

you need to get a little kiddy pool if you get one so it can swim.

yea kiddie pool is needed...my friend that had 2 didnt have a kiddie pool only a large wash basin in the back yard so only one duck could fit at a time...but one day there was one duck in it and then the other duck got in and was ontop of the other duck and killed it...drowned y0!
