Pick a laptop

I'm forced to decide between two laptops. The Dell Latitude D620 or the IBM ThinkPad R60.

ThinkPad R60
CPU: Intel Core Duo 1.67
RAM: 1GB x1 DIMM
VIDEO: 128 MB ATI x1400
HDD: 80GB 5400RPM
Display: 14.1" XGA
CD: DVD-RW/CD-RW
Ports: 3-USB, S-Video, FireWire
Network: 10/100/1000
Wireless: Intel ABG

CPU: Intel Core Duo 1.67
RAM: 1GB x1 DIMM
VIDEO: 256 MB Nvidia TurboCache*
HDD: 80GB 5400RPM
Display: 14.1" WXGA (Wide)
CD: DVD-RW/CD-RW
Ports: Serial, VGA, 4-USB
Network: 10/100/1000
Wireless: Dell BG

Only real difference I spot is the video card and the dell has the wide screen.

thinkpad..

firewire and s-video would be advantageous to me personally, the vid's not that far a step back, but i've always been a fan of ATI too so
tho with those things in mind, the wide screen format could prove beneficial

dell uses the cheapest components. if you want to keep it for a while, use IBM.

if you notice a lot of b2b companies use dell.. cheap ****... established big businesses usually do not go dell for internal use.

IBMs are by far better, and for whoever said you would use the widescreen...totally wrong, the widescreen is the best feature on my Toshiba..my thinkpad doesnt have it and it drives me nuts.

The only thing about IBM laptops is they look ugly as hell
