If anything he should have said you live at the house across the street, when she arrives you be on the lookout...if shes hot, he can go get her and say he said the wrong number...if shes not, you can avoid anything unholy happening in your room.

PART I

Ok, here is one of mine.

Back in the ICQ days, I met this girl online. We became friends and later, we started talking on the phone. She was studying in Western Ontario while I was in U of T St. George campus. So one thing lead to another, we decided to meet in person. I was single back then and I said to myself "what have I got to lose?" I mean, I wasn't asking for a free ride or anything, but just to meet someone. She was not so attaching but once I sent her my picture, she became aggressive and if I am not online for one night, she would ask the next day. Plus, she sounded quite well on the phone which made me believe she had a decent face.

When people say voice could be a deceiving, they don't mean that for nothing.

So I told this idea to my school mates and they said go for it, and one of them supplied his car for me. Before I depart, she asked me if I wanted to see her photo but I said no. I wanted to keep the secret. I thought it wasn't nice cause if she turned out to be not so good looking, my drive to London would be the worse drive ever. So picturing what she looked like would be a fun thing to do.

The day came, and I got dressed for this occasion. Took the car and begun the journey. I arrived at the dorm/restaurant that she told me and had a smoke first, cause I was nervous as hell. I walked in and looked around, looking for an Asian girl but I didn't pick out any so I walked out again. Had another smoke and decided to give it another try. She knew what I looked like so that's shouldn't be too hard.

2 minutes later, an Asian girl walked towards me. Ordinary girl, not the brightest star in the sky but the voice is the same. She looked up to me and said "are you Charles?"

At first, I was hoping it was her friend, then she would lead me to the real girl. But turns out it was her. I nodded and we got into the car and drove around the town. I wasn't from London so she showed me the way. We went to Plantation for a drink and chatted. I was trying to cheer her up because she was so damn shy. She bearly spoke a word, and that made me look like an idiot.

So after the drink, we went back to her dorm and watched a movie on the computer. But I was so damn tired I asked if I could have a nap on her bed and she said yes. So I did. Slept for about an hour or so then got up, went out to dinner. After the dinner, we went to a movie and watched "Urban Legend".

I sort of felt she was coming onto me and I made one mistake. During the movie, she was scared (I should have picked a comedy) so I held her hand. That completely sent the wrong message. But she was warm and it felt nice.

After the movie, I drove her back. She asked me if I wanted to go up for a coffee (like literally) but I kindly declined. It was already late and I need to go back to Downtown for next day's class. So I took off and agreed to talk online later.

I mean, she wasn't my type. But that didn't mean we couldnt' be friends, no?
