The pickle barrel is a pretty good place to eat. Good food, good prices.

Dinner/Playtime
McDonalds

Located approx. every 2.6 city blocks with a wide range of delicious food stuffs and daily specials sure to entice the biggest appetite.

and when you are done with you're first class beef, fish or chicken dinner with a delicious slice of pie for desert you can make your way to the after dinner room to relax in a sea of plastic relaxation beads, or take a trip down a tunnel or have a nap in a net hammock.

best part is this, even if your date is a complete pig, its not gonna cost you an arm and a leg...bring a 20 and still have change to take a public stretch limo to your next destination

The bar at Queen's Beach has AMAZING food. Right accross form the Beach Volleyball courts. Dinner for two would run around 60-75 bucks inc appetizer and drinks. Forget the name of the place though. It's right on lakeshore before it curves to go north.
PS. If you like Calamari...it's the best i've ever had.

Canyon Creek is pretty good. Much better then the Keg anyway. I used to have a list of places in T.O. to go to when my wife went to school there. I've long forgoten most of them, but my current favourite restauant id called Big Daddies Crab Shack. There is one on King St. in T.O. and another in Mississauga on Erin Mills and Southdown. They have great oysters, mussles and shrimp all Cajum style.

Nice places to go for a walk are......Hutches in Hamilton, stop at Barranga's have a drink on the patio.
Spencer Smith Park in Burlington- theres a gazebo and your right on the lake, same thing with Hutches but you have sand and the water.
Do something different, us girls like change, I went apple picking on the weekend and a cruise up in Milton with Marty and absolutely loved it. Go to your local animal shelter and take the dogs for a walk before it gets too cold, shows your loving and caring and girls like animals, and your helping the dogs out! Go to the zoo, thats always fun! Do things you havent done in awhile, things you used to enjoy as a kid. Go to Niagara on the lake to the butterfly exhibit, go for a drive up north and watch the leaves change. Explore little towns you've never heard of. A really nice place to go is Elora, they have one of the only still standing covered bridges and its named "The Kissing" bridge! Go for a trail ride etc etc, man i could keep going.... just some thoughts!

Come on Mandie.....let's hear it. I have my own little secrets that I try not to give out. If you want to get ice cream there's a place on Danforth right at Dawes Rd. It's like 2 bucks for a single scoop, but that single scoop is actualy about 3-4 scoops. It's INSANE.
Best bet is to find a place that you've never been to. Or haven't been to in a long time. One of my best "dates" was at a hockey touney (hold on, she knew other ppl on the team so relax) anyways, it was in coburg and neither of us had really been there before. I'd been through it, byut never spent time. Anyways, we walked all over downtown coburg. Along the board walk in all the little shops, it was GREAT! We had a great day.....we didn't win the touney though
