not to sure how much you should ask, but it sounds like you got a sweet set up, just as a side note you wont get back what you put into it.
Good-luck

sadly , those guys are right. You don't really get back the amount of money u put into the car and quite frankly the resale market for civics are really low now.

Try to get it back to stock (if you still have the original parts), you can ask for $9g's but you will probably sell it for $7 or $8g's.

imo turn the car to stock.
and sell off the mods seperately
and then sell the car seperately.

thas the only way to sell it for more.

9g's for a 2000 hatch? wow those guys that stated that are super low ballers. the dx se model is rare and was the top of the line. imo with the setup you can sell it for 12 easy.

Yes but mods don't add value to a car. In my opinion anyhow.

Put it as close to stock as you can and then sell the car. You'll make more that way.

mods dont add value to the car?
your on crack right?

if a stock dx se goes for around 9-10 and factoring in that his mods alone are over 6 grand. i think its more then fair if it was to be sold for 12.

like really some people think by saying oh mods dont add value they can get away with murder. mods dont add COMPLETE value of the mod but it still has a higher price then stock.

Meticulous : 1. Extremely careful and precise.
2. Extremely or excessively concerned with details.

ummm... no.

6 grand is the canadian black book value of that car with that year and those miles, providing it is in mint condition. im not on crack, im realistic. mods do NOT add to the value of a car, in some cases, it decreases it. if you ever bring a modded car to a dealer as a trade in, they will give u even less as it has been modded and therefor makes it harder to sell as a lot of people are not interested in modded cars and would rather have a stock one.

so lets see.....if i got a stock civic for 5k....and i swapped in a k20a....and then sell it....i wont even get 5k for it back?....that's bullsh!t, well over 90% ppl will buy it for a higher price
