Pontiac Grand Prix GT (P)
Damn what a nice car. Took one for a spin the last few days when me and my gf went up to wasage for a getaway.
Such a beautiful car, I was impressed, even for a domestic. I would take that car, well, the GTP which is even better in a flash if it came in manual.
It has gobs of torque, ready to pass at any time, I was crusing around 2000 rpm coulnd't hear the engine at all, was a very solid ride, steering was excellent, everything about this car was great.

They are awesome cars, my dad rented one when his Cavalier was in the shop and I took it for a spin and it's quick, only problem is that they only come in auto, would be nice if GM would offer a manual version.

Yeah they are nice cars, I loved them off when they came out with the new model in '97 when I was in high school. There are a few people who have converted them to manual using the Muncie MG2 transmission (found on older FWD GM's) But for some reason I thought that during the first couple of years...'97/'98 that they were available in manual with the 3.8 s/c but I don't think so. But hey once I start typing I won't stop so i'll leave it at this

A guy who used to work with me just picked one up. It's got oodles of torque - something you'd expect from a large v6. He had the leather interior. Nice car. I'd prefer a mid 70's jag with a chev 350 swap as I am just that kind of kooky guy...

new engine has from custom grind cam, to custom pistons
nothing from zzp or intense (who r the main suppliers of GP parts)
the car should run faster, its that his car would not switch into 3rd gear so he had to let off, and let it shift, but with some more custom tunning it has all changed
ya thats 2nd gear at 103 mphs

yo crash did ur dad put the smaller pulley on as well?
i did that with mine and there was a noticable difference
also had the custom intake, and the tranny shiftkit
aftermarket parts are expensive for this car i beileve it was like a grand for the headers U.S dollers
