Yea the flight is really long, I took the Vancouver route with a stopoff in honolulu and it worked out to be just under 24 hours. Brisbane is awesome, its always warm . Make sure you check out Surfer's Paradise and the Gold Coast. The waves are incredible. If your gonna go to the Warner Bros. theme park check out the Police Academy stunt show. By far the best i've seen. Steve Irwin's Zoo is pretty sick too. I was there last year man I wish I could go this year too.

My uncle drove us there, but he lived about a 2 hour train ride away from surfers paradise and it took like an hour and a bit to get there. Your prolly closer to it that I was.

What about the iRiver or Creative MPs players?
I was going to buy the wife an Ipod for her birthday next month, but the guy at Best Buy was telling me that the Creative players were better. I like the Ipod just because of the many accesories avaiable for it.
The 06 Civics have an AUX input to plug in any MP3 player, but there are a few companys that sell Ipod stuff that integrates the IPod with the OEM stereo.

from "i want a 3 port wired switch and nothing else" he recommend a wireless router with 6 wired ports, and 11 wireless connections.
after a bit i told him i'd be better off without his help, walked down the same shelf area, and found what i was looking for. A $30 switch.
i went back and showed him what a switch was.

moral of the story, i'm telling you the guys at best buys should not be listened to. remember, they are professionals that are paid minimum wage.

I didn't used to like the fact that the batteries aren't user replacable, but if you think about it you'll probably get 2-3 years easy out of the battery (if you don't do stupid thing like leave it in a hot car in teh summer). By then the prices of better MP3 players will be cheaper than the price you paid for yours, so you won't want to replace the battery anyways, just buy a new one.

BB employees have minimal actual knowledge about their products. However, for like 75% of the population its enough...
