I have a dilemma, there is this website that people I know post on, but since the topics aren't intriguing enough they seem to get shut down in a hurry. I usually spend a lot of my time on this specific site and I read through all the posts until I find something of interest to me. However, when I try to reply and after spending many minutes conjuring thoughts I get a message notifying me that the post I am posting to is closed! Very upsetting.
Since TCC is really cool about what people post and we don't have this problem here I figured I would post my dilemma here. If you guys were on a site I was just talking about what interesting topics would you post about in order to get conversations going that aren't so "meaningless" to the point where they get shutdow?

Depends on the age group and maturity level. Personally, I love to debate about politics to no end. I love talking about cars but some idiot always comes along and starts talking BS and I just cant be bothered to waste my time dealing with them.
