they have base, se, and sh... its the SH that comes with them. but its onli an add on from the dealership. but you could buy them on ebay or aftermarket ones. from JDM land. plus i havent seen too many ppl with them here. its i believe a 300-400 upgrade. (dealer price)

The USDM fogs are a bit diff than the JDM fogs, the JDM are nicer looking and flow a bit better.

The se also comes with heated seats.

The SH is a bit heavier and has a problem with a piece, the ATTS unit sometimes goes and is hefty to get replaced.

SE imo is best.

I was so close to getting a '97 Prelude SE but insurance quoted me over 13 grand a year, guess it doesn't help that I'm only 18.

I have no tickets or anything.

Damn insurance companies! Oh well I do have my hatch though, so either way it turned out good.

thanks for pointing out the obvious lol

Its a well known fact they all burn oil, its a bad design in the rings

It varies depending how you drive, if you vtec like crazy all the time your gonna burn more oil, myself I don't so it stays pretty good throughout the oil change cycles.

Even with this little issue the fun factor and torque sure makes up for it.

Matt, if this is true, a lil Seafoam in the cylinders may cure your oil appetite. Saturns burn oil like mad, which is when I first got up on Seafoam. The oil control rings get carboned up, and that's why it burns oil. So yeah... lil MMO or Seafoam in the cyls clears that right up!!

Oh yeah, with Preludes, b/c the engine is all the same, it's best to buy a base prelude with no options as at all. Those are lightest, therefore fastest. If you are a good driver, you don't need no stinkin ATTS
