yeah GM Top Engine Cleaner... that's aiight too if you can even FIND the crap... usually used on them oil burning Caddies

MMO is Marvel Mystery Oil, lil red bottle with a black label. Prolly find it at Partsource. I think I seen it there, and also at Canadian Auto Stores.... so it's available in Canada. I bought mine at Auto Zone in Warren, MI.

But yeah, Seafoam is more pure than MMO... and I think it's more concentrated. Either way, I use Seafoam all the way now. If you have trouble finding it, I can send you two bottles from here if you want??

yeah, it's pure petroleum, so anywhere that's oil/gas safe you can use.... so fuel, oil, and intake mani (thru vacuum lines). in your case, b/c this is not mainenance but rather a cleaning... maybe it would be good to start off with a capful in each spark plug well overnight. then crank it with the spark plugs out to get the excess seafoam (so as to not hydrolock it) and then start the engine... then suck 1/2 a can in through a vacuum line.... and then pour the rest in your fuel. After the tank is done, change your oil and you should notice a lot less burning. Also switch to synth oil if you aren't already.

well it's really carbon build up that causes oil burning, and carbon deposits happen more when you lug it in high gear and don't let it unwind. so IMO... a car that is properly driven (warmed up and revved out correctly) should have less deposits, BUT the fact is carbon deposits are a design flaw.

either your cousin

a.) is lieing about the problem
b.) doesn't ever check his oil between oil chanes
c.) has got the engine rebuilt because of the problem

on the 5th gen h22a4 its common practice, even the better ones burn less but still burn oil if you vtec somewhat. Go check out toronto preludes you will see, almost everyone has it. Maybe he got his fixed under honda warrenty.
