PREMEET! Korean BBQ at Chako Barbecue.Izakaya - Friday July 18
Only a couple days left, so let's get the show started.
Time of KBBQ starts at 10:00PM, and I will make reservation Friday morning or around noon time. If you change your mind (whether coming or not) late Friday and show up that night, you are more than welcome to eat but know this that any addition may result in sitting elsewhere and not with the group.
Premeet at Commerce Gate underground parking at 9:00PM, and will depart at 9:30PM. Parking at the new KBBQ location is nothing short of a nightmare, and it might take that long to find a parking on a Friday night. We will leave sharp and anyone who comes late will have to find the location yourself (which is not hard). It is crucial we seat at 10:00 cause hungry crowd cannot wait, and so are the reserved seats.
Sal is kind enough to provide a photo shoot before hand. He is estimated to be at the area around 7:30 to 8:00PM. We will spend an hour or a little more on the photo shoot and move to Commerce Gate at 9:00PM. There might be a photo shoot after the meal, but that is up to Sal. Photo shoot crowd will premeet at Commerce Gate underground as well, there are some nice buildings around.

Members are welcome to exchange phone numbers. I am not sure if CG underground can receive well. So it is recommended to call before 7:00PM if any change is going to happen.

Note:
I would expect nothing less from all of you (including myself of course) with the best behaviour in any public domain we may come across on Friday night. If you have drinks at premeet, please do not leave them behind. Cigarette is a hard one, but if possible, please also put them out in an empty Tim Ho'z cup or whatnot and dispose after. Last but not least, drive easy.

also we gotta be very careful at this commerce gate location as this was where that nissan club was busted a few months ago. the place is always under watch by cops and all. as charles said in the first post...be respectful and dont drive like a maniac....no rips or burns at all plz

Here is how I see it (regarding parking and being hassled, and of all the times I have met with friends in the parking lot, I have never gotten hassled by anyone), you drive into the plaza nice and slow, and in the same manner slowly entre the parking lot and proceed to the location that you are going to park.
No loud exhaust will not set off security's attention. Park the car, have casual conversation and act with self respect (everyone has different definition on that, but if you want people to take you seriously, then you act like you deserve it). We could use the excuse of dinning upstairs (that's where we used to have the KBBQ) but regardless, if you act with respect, you are welcomed everywhere.
