Because unfortunately for the MAJORITY that dress in that fashion, they tend to share the same characteristics.
Alot of people out there just may dress like that to look good, however their numbers are relatively few and far between.

**** man. Im speaking solely from my own personal observations, and as you could see by looking at this thread, I am not the only one that notices it.
I beleive it is solely based on first impressions, and attitude. Most of the people (From my own experience, and as stated above, from others experience as well) who dress in that fashion seem to (for whatever reason) share some degree of behavioural characteristics.
And no, I haven't condicted extensive studies in the matter, like I said above, this is solely based on personal observation.

I heard the same thing. I think that there actually all a bunch of sissys that just get tattoos and piercing in the first place to look tough so everyone will leave them alone.

Ya, that's what I'm saying... but a lot of ppl don't do it for that reason... they do it to belong. I say wear whatever makes YOU feel good. For a long time I dressed in all Fubu, Phat Farm, Ecko, Karl Kani... you know... hip hop clothes. I wasn't trying to be african-american, that was just what felt good on me.
