ok i'm having a little argument right now with someone who says cars show are all about the girls, thats the reason guys go.
I said thats not the reason at all, i go for the cars and if there happens to be girls there i will look but i'm not there to see them, if i wanted to see all girls i'd go to the ripers.

like at darknights i was there to see the skyline and the twin turbo 350z, i did see the model show but i only stood there for like 5 minutes.

so what do you guys think, why do you go...they do call it a car show for a reason.

I have only been to Improfest once and it was like 2 years ago. I think all import car shows are more or less "you see them once you see them all" type of deal. Well, maybe I am wrong. But I enjoy reading about cars on Honda Tuning than seeing some of the local cars.

Anyway

I don't go to car shows to see the girls. I think girls who dress less to attract attentions have issues. But majority of guys like them, it is their choice. I am attracted to a few cars, not car show girls.

i go to hang out with ppl that have the same interest as me and i like to talk to ppl to get ideas....

at DKN6 i didnt even get to the model show... well i went on the sunday but i got there just as it started pouring and my windows were down so i left in a hurry...

i just go for the crowd and to hang out and see the way ppl do their cars...

i would say cars but you are disapointed if the girls aint thier cause its part of it now. But if the intent was girls their are a ****load of better places to go than a car show

car shows are a rip...take your money to see the same cars over and over again...the vendors dont have anything good or for a good deal that you couldnt get any other day...food is over priced...the point of car shows is for promoters and vendors to make money

yeah, when i went to darknights a few years back, couldnt bring ur own drinks into the park and a goddamn bottle of water was like $4.... go yourself, ull never see me at a carshow again prob, they really do bore me now

hey i am married but i still enter my car because i am proud of the way it looks and want to show it off, and if it brings me home with a trophy and some pics with girls around my car then so be it. but when u hit shows you meet so many car enthousiasts (can i spell) and you can garrenty you will see the same crowd at the next show and so on but it is a life style, see i use to hang out out a night clubs when i was single and don't most guys go to see hot girls and listen to loud music? when you wake up after a night out what do have to show for it, a hang over, mabe a girls number, but if you are lucky a girl beside you. now lets look at a car show, if you compete, you can win cash trophy's meet lots of new people and not get a head ach. as a spectator you come home with pics of cars and girls mabe a phone number you got to see a fashion show got some free ****, and mabe won some cool free stuff like tires body kits or at some shows a new car. i hope this answers your question.

I think this argument is with your girlfriend. ANyways, yes the girls are great to see. But then again, cars are our hobbys. THe girls are there, almost as a bonus. I go to see the works of art, and I know the girls will be there, so be it. I will look at them as well. Sometimes I go for both, but i'm not just going for the girls of course. And yes, i will stop n talk with them and get pics. But it is like a double situation. Going for both in a sense.

Why go to a club? Not just to dance. Do meet girls as well as drink.

I go to the shows because I like to cause sh*t there and I also get to see which models got new boobies.

Plus I don't pay to get in.

Cars & Girls have always gone hand in hand - even if you don't want to see the girls they're still there.

Let's reverse the roles:
We had some HOT guy models @ the SGR booth a couple of years ago @ the I-rev show. They approached girls and handed them flyers, took pics with them and everything any guy would do with the girl models. Let's just say the boyfriends were giving cut eye to their GF & the guy model the whole time. We even had one guy yank on his GF's arm as she reached for a flyer, and she was dragged away. We never saw her again...

Girls who are into cars go to the shows to check out the cars but if there are HOT guys there too it's just a bonus. We don't go to scout for guys.

Some girls do and they're called car models (the volunteer ones!)
Francine Dee, Kaila Yu, Sharron Soto, etc wouldn't look @ any of the guys at the show.

I think that because the scene of girls that are into cars is growing there should be more of that going on.. way to go on the guy models...
