Hey all.. got a chance to trade my crx for a 99 civic si...

What are the benefits.. i know nothing of a newer civic.. all i know it has 160 hp.. and that sucks compared to what my rex has...

So.. basically i ask if i should trade... worth it..

How much hp does the Rex have? 200 tops?

The SI is newer, bigger and has more features and options. The 99 will be more reliable and have a better resale value too. Sure your H22 Rex may be alot faster, but does that matter much to you?

Is it an American car? In Canada, the Civic with the B16A2 is the SIR and is alot nicer then your garden variety Si. I'd go for it. You could even turn around and sell it for $15000. You'd never get that for the Rex.

So it's a Hatch with a swap and lots of mods not a stock Si or SiR. I wouldn't then. Who knows what could be wrong with it.

If it's a Hatch, then it has a swap. Unless it looks like this Civic, then it's not an SiR. This is the only Civic that came with the B16A2 in Canada.
