late payments dont really hurt your credit all that much
only if your taking toooo long to pay em off, or if your donig too often.
but even someone who regularly pays the payments off late shouldnt have "bad credit" it just wont be as great as others, and in the end it wont matter much

Just my opinion, but to pay late is probably not a good idea period. If you miss because you forgot, shyte happens, but do do it on a reg basis is not a good thing.

But wouldn't you agree that once you start doing that, that it will become a habit? Because you can get away with it and continue to do so?

yea u better.
its also not really a smart idea to pay late anyways, cuz you end up paying interest which is 100% wasted money. it may not seem liek a lot because people always think "oh its only 5 bucks" or "oh its not like this happens all the time"
but it all adds up and all that money adds up.
ur better off taking a loan from the bank to payy off your credit card because the interest wont be as much lol.

Obviously you have never seen or heard of a credit report. That is the worse advice you could give.

I worked at a job in college where my boss was a dead beat and he owed a lot of people a lot of money (he's dead now). He bounced cheques off me left and right. So he ended up paying my cash weekly, but not the full amt. ("come back tomorrow for the rest").
Any one working, driving, and going to school knows what budgeting is like. I wasn't able to make my ins. payments or pay for gas etc. So I started cash advancing my Visa and got into a little trouble, cuz now I couldn't pay my Visa payment.
Long story short, I spoke with Visa and they worked something out for me, and my credit rating is good to this day. The end
