theres no more nicotine in your system after roughly a week.
also nicotine is not the hardest to kick, heroin is worse.

the reason people have cravings after that one week period is because they have been acustomed to having something in their mouth and their hand. thats why most people eat more when quitting. you kinda develop an oral fixation

i had quit before, was nearly a year but then a busload of stress hit me all at once. couldn't take it.

as for the smoking while drinking, i had a couple of smokes while drunk and it didn't affect me at all. probably cause i could barely remember what happened

umm no offence but i think that thats the worst excuse for starting up smoking again lol...ive been a smoker from grade nine to grade twelve and stopped for a new life going to university im now at schulic for my BBA theres a ****load of stress in their believe me not to mention my brown family problems, girl trouble, frikken car trouble, going to work 30 hours a week and on top of that trying not to get kicked out with a C average now thats stress....there are simply much better ways of stress relief even i have the time to

1) work out - do some cardio with weightlifting u feel like a brand new person after a hardcore workout

2) drive - i find that driving with music alleviates episodic stressors such as a bad day

3) sex - self explanatory or worst come to worst use your hand

4) eat more sensibly - eating healthy just feels better than eating a greasy burger and fries u feel even more like **** after

5) eliminate potential stressors - believe me thinking about something is worse than it is deal with it...it just makes u feel better when ur not thinking about the worst of things!

my philosophy of not smoking certainly made me quit these five practically eliminate the chronic stress in my life... without the need for a cigarette i smoked 12-18 cigarettes in one day no one forced me to quit I did it on my own for my 5 reasons...please list some more reasons of how u quit! thanks!

i don't care if you think if my excuse is weak, what you were going threw was NOTHING compared to what happened to me.
