Also, i'm in need of something that is gas powered but REALLY small that only produces electricity.... as in you can hook up 2 wires to it and run power from it.... but it has to be REALLY small but produce substantial power....

hey, I used to race them professionally years back. I still have 2 of them but both are electric and I raced with both of them so im keeping them in case I get bored one day and I wan't to run it at the track again. I never had radio shack garbage these are the actual pro ones. Some gas cars come out of the factory box at a rate of 50 MPH with performance headers, tuned pipe, 2 speed transmission, head sink head, belt tensioners, ultra light graphite chassis components, MIP cvd swingshafts and the list goes on. They are also costly though, a new kit with all of the equipment will run you around $500, that's a cheap kit. Some gas kits depending on chassis rates goes for thousands and those actually have real break disks and rotors just like a car.

My buddy had...or has...an R/C car-nitro fueled that he won at some car show. Apparently it costs $500, and he got it FREE. All he had to buy is a controller and some fuel.
So he invited me over to play with it on some side street of his. These things are fast as HELL!!! holy crap...
He left to get more fuel, so I was playing around with it, and then put the antenna on the controller down and forgot to put it back up.
As I was driving the car, I realized that I forgot about the antenna...I reached down to pull it back up, and at that same instant the car lost range. When it loses range, it just goes full speed wherever it was going last....not a pretty sight. Curbs and R/C cars don't mix.

Used to race them, electric class modified and stock. Stock class was the best cause they were a closer race. I have a TAO2, TAO3F PRO, RS4 PRO 2, and TC3 conv. to Factory Team. I've seen gas cars hit over 80mph, and the fastest electric I've seen hit around 75mph. But the fastest record is held by an electric car, that went 119mph!
Anyone up for a TCC R/C meet. Theres a good area in Mississauga by Boyz Toys. Well lit and has a smooth paved surface.

wow I never knew there were so many rc car enthusiasts on here. Does anyone race at Rc Champ Raceway on Progress Ave. I used to race there and I also attended the big race at the Hobby Show. Damn I used to be the youngest kid racing, I was racing at 14,15 and 16. Most racers are usually over their mid 20's and up I couldn't afford anything even close to the crap they had. These people blow thousands and thousands on equipment alone to tune their car to the fullest for the track conditions. I might look for another gas when I have some cash or sell one of mine and grab one with that cash. When I had my GP spider mk2 gas car I fully customized it. I replaced the motor with an HPI .15 brand new motor and cutomized moutns for it, put the 2 speed from the kyosho on it, I filed open the exhaust ports to enlargen it and also the header to get more flow going threw, I bought an oversized throttle body to allow more gas flow into the engine and so on my gas car used to fly down my street
I presently have the Yokomo MR4TC and the Team Losi XXCR Kinwald Edition

I've had 4 R/C cars over the span of 4 years.
Started with a Nitro Rustler, hopped it up, MIP pipe, aluminum rims, titanium ****, hardened yolks etc.
Got a T-Maxx from my friend for free (value of $750), my dad made me aluminum parts for it, a-arms, chassis braces, bumpers, body posts.
Sold the Rustler bought an Nitro Rs4-2, kept it about a year, used it 20 times, it was a POS.
Traded the rs4-2 for an electric RS4 Rally last friday so far It's running a 15T speedgems quad motor, GM V6r ESC, standard steering servo, and 2 1500 and 1 2400 battery packs. It's pretty quick for an electric, not as fast as EG4Doors TC3 but then again I can go offroad
Boys Toys said that we can use their track on fridays, so tomorrow if it doesn't rain, bring up your R/C cars and we can run a little race if they have the track set up.

I raced a Yokomo 4 wheel belt driven electric with full carbon fibre chassis aluminum suspension, mini aluminum oil filled shocks. damn thing cost me 5G's after upgrades..... damn that money would have been more useful towards my Honda... sigh...... Anyone remember the first anual race at Pac mall a couple of years back??? I can't remember what it was called.. I do remember coming in like 65 th place out of 150.... hey it was my first race.... I'll rememebr never to use a labourgini shell again... cost me the damn race....
