Raptors done for the season..
Not sure how many basketball fans are in the club..but..
Who watched tonight's Raptors game?
Who watched Vince Carter hobble out during the first quarter?
Later on in the game (third quarter)..Antonio Davis is also injured as well..
With the two strongest offensive players on the team (IMO) out, the Raptors won't be contenders anymore. AD is a great leader both on and off the court and it's just sad to see that he's injured.
I think the Raptors are bound to lose eventually and this season will be no good.
Oh well...maybe next year boys..

hey you never know, but at least this way the team will learn not to depend on them two to bail them out in and out of all games right. so i dunno that's my 2 cents anyhow.

I dunno about being done for the season because they don't know how bad his injury is, i just can't believe that he got injured like that, noone was even near him! :fustrated i hope that he gets better quick times, otherwise it may be the end of our season, because even though we played well last year without him, we're down quite a few of the good players we had last year thanks to the stupid luxury tax that the league has going, which is extra stupid because smaller teams like the raptors (which the luxury tax is supposed to help out) are actually being hurt by it, it's just another excuse for the NBA to get more money because of the falling ratings..... I swear they need to stop changing stuff and just leave it the way it is. Hopefully Carter, AD, and JYD will all be fully recovered soon and maybe we can have atleast one injury free season? plz? is that too much to ask??

It's too bad, Carter was playing well; going to bucket , attracting the defence and finding the open man. He was starting to look like the Carter of old. But the good news is that he is listed day-to-day and there's no structural damage to knee.

LOL...it's like 2 games into the season and you're already writing them off???
carter is going to be out like 2 wks, and davis is going to be back sooner. they still got PLENTY of time to do well this season. hell, even without carter they can win.
dont be so fast to jump off the bandwagon there :working:

82 game season. Plenty of time for them to recover, and for the Raps to make the playoffs. I'm not concerned at all whether they win or lose. I'm grateful we have an NBA team here to cheer for, unlike Vancouver.
BTW... did anyone watch tonight's game?

Lindsay Hunter's game-winning-basket was good...nice fadeaway..
I still think they should rig it so we lose a lot and so next year we can get a good deal off a draft pick..i think that highschooler Lebron James is up for grabs next year...hopefully we'll have another Carter on our hands next year we'll hafta see about that tho..
It's good to see everyone else pick up the slack since VC and AD are out..but MoP and JYD need to pick it up..but Alvin Williams and N'Diaye were good...did you see all those blocks N'Diaye made?
Sweet!

Prolly too intense for him..
He's still relatively inexperienced seeing how he didn't play many games last season...then again he should have enough experience from whereever he was before...
Anyone know his background? (Where he was drafted from, etc.?)
I'm just too lazy to look it up myself
