well from what I can see is that thet vinyl wasnt etched it has a holographic film in the middle of the vinyl sandwich...kinda hard to capture in a picture...and yea, records sound so much more "whole" then cold digital recordings

Cynikal, if you want a simular sound, record it "as is" to a cd recorder (complete with the pops and clicks). You can also add that "warth/distortion" with various recording/editing programs.
I have started to rip my collection to cd, and the few tracks that I have done so far (late 80's/early 90's house), sound just like the originals. Only diff is I no longer have to worry about the needle jumping if someone bumps into the cd deck. The sound is just as good with the copies as they are with the originals (when listened to over a large sound system).

a clean record will pop and click...there are always variances in the vinyl that will cause this opposed to a digital recording...and of course if u rip vinyl to a digital media you will get all the nuance of the original pressing to give it that rich deep sound we all love
