Why she lived, and didn't even get a shot off before they captured her. She only got a medal because she's a female. Her comrades that got bullets to the backs of their heads, and dumped in a shallow graves deserve the rememberance. I wouldn't want to see her naked anyway, she looks like a skinny little crack head.

I don't see why the americans are hailing her as a hero ... see was captured .... a P.O.W...and there are the people that went in to save her and they are the real heros ... but do we hear their names? nooooooooo.

I agree, I don't understand how being captured and causing more soldiers to risk their lives to come save you makes you a hero.

I think it's in the way she was captured that she bacame a hero... she must have been doing a risky mission that got her captured. You know what I mean? It'd be diff't if she was out shopping for knock off Gucci stuff, and she got taken... ya know?

I think that she should be a "hero," along with the hundreds of thousands of other men and women, for having the guts to go overseas.

But Private Lynch has now gone on record as saying that reports of her rescue were extremely overaggerated. Originally, it was reported that her rescue was dangerous and how the Iraqi's were hostile, but in reality, the Iraqi's were helpful and her rescuers weren't in any real danger at all.

Also, I heard that the Iraqi's that were holding her were doctors and were actually trying to save her life and keep her alive... far from the original reports that they tortured her and were hostile.

Really makes you think about how the media really cloaks the truth...

**** her....its all propaganda....a scenario created by the US government inorder for people to get reved up about the war!! bullshit!! the lastest bombing in riyad ...or whatever the ******* place is called..in saudi arabia is linked to the U.S. in my opinion. Its screwed up man...as soon as that bombing occured....cnn was asking if people think that the arab world's view about Al-Qaida will change now that they are attaching arabs aswell....Don't believe the hype man....think of the most far-fenched plot u can think of and I bet the U.S is behind!! bullshit!!!

you know how princess diana's former butler is telling all those secrets about the royal family?? well miss lynch is doing the same thing.... making money off a tragedy.... although hers isn't really a tragedy as thousands of people have been POW's... the american government is just glorifying her so they can drop a few more bombs on iraq and kill some more inocents and even kill some of there own just to get oil at a cheaper price
