Cool Resident Evil: Apocalypse

Saw the movie this weekend and surprisingly, it was pretty good!! Fight scenes were amazing and gun fights even better! Nothing like mowing down row after row of zombies!

There were tons of shots of Toronto too! It's pretty cool being able to recognize different areas of Toronto in the movie from the Bloor Viaduct to City Hall and stuff like that!!

I saw it on friday, and I loved it! I was expecting it to be pretty bad, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

if at least 25 people die and it has zombies, it's worth it!

I remember driving up the DVP one day and could see the huge spot lights and some smoke on the Bloor Viaduct from when they shut it down that one weekend to film a couple scenes.

It's kinda weird seeing that happen in real life and then see it later on in the movie! It's even weirder seeing Toronto City Hall!! I walk past those buildings a couple times a week and it's in Resident Evil 2!!

Ya i saw them filming all the scenes at city hall and caught some of it on video too... it's really weird to watch the raw unedited stuff and then compare that to the finished product... tons of editing and special effects were necessary...

but ya it's nice to see them use so much of toronto... it was all filmed in canada i'm pretty sure, toronto, hamilton and one other city...

ROACHO2: when you mentioned about scarbourough... you reminded me of UTSC.... they should film it there... i remember one of the buildings there, the hallway was freaky and dirty... looks like a good RE location...

that was funny shiet... gotta agree on that... that guy was hilarious throughout....
remember the scene when they found out the other cop was bitten??? he was like, why didn't you tell me that earlier... i ain't shiet staying around you...
that was funny
and then remember the helicopter scene??? that evil bastard was asking the helicopter to take off.... and then the black guy turned around and said "coz i drive a cadillac" holy... he's some pure jokes throughout!!!

great move with nice jokes!

Notorious: can u name a few movies that was film at UTSC? just kind of curious... i only been there maybe 4 or 5 times..... i always just enter the same dirty and freaky building that is like across the gym??? not too sure.... but that hall has lots of lockers and its just pure dirty and dark...........hopefully they cleaned it up... well, i'm just curious what movies they film there before... so maybe if u can, list me a few...

to those who hasn't watch the movie:
unless you're watching milla and the action... otherwise, the plot is not that great (you can't expect much outta a movie that is originated from a game...)
but one thing you must look out for is... the black guy!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!! you will be completely awake when he appears in the movie.........
i watched at rainbow for 7.50 by the way... wasn't sure if i want to spend too much $$$ for the better theatre... but the rainbow was good enough...IMO
