unless it is stated in your contract, i don't believe you need to give any notice.
giving two weeks notice can be very entertaining. my friend at my old job said it was the best two weeks of him being employed ever. most of it was spent smoking in the shipping bay with IT (he was in a different dept and not allowed to take breaks whenever he wanted), drinking at lunch, and being a dick to a bunch of people.
his last day was spent topless.
he was nice enough to initialize his hard drive before leaving.

Giving a two week notice is not mandatory. Unless you signed a contract, but most companies won't chase after you in any legal way for leaving without a two week consent, unless you leaving resulted in heavy financial set backs. Considering it is within your probation period, feel free to leave. Just don't expect to work for that company again or any of its affiliates.
