Never mind that nobody can freaking drive there but every time i walk around there i feel like f-cking godzilla..

I am 6,2 and about 230lbs and i can see over everyone in that mall.

I like some of the stuff that you can get there and the fact that if you bring cash you never pay taxes or the sticker price but is it really worth the 45 minutes wait to park...i need to bring a camcorder there next time and tape my adventures.

Shame on myself for doing the same thing last Saturday...
standing near Pac Mall underground parking, watching someone took 10 mins to park his RAV4...

As a Chinese myself, I sometimes feel embrassed because of all these retard drivers (in this case, RAV4 or M3, Corolla) created such bad image of our race.

Some other most common "bad driving habbit" I have observed...

Running the stop sign
Driving too slowly (e.g. driving 40Km/h in the left lane @Hwy7 where posted 70Km/h max)
Changing lanes without observing/checking.
Blocking the road way because they are waiting for a parking spot that is closed by the mall entrance.

However, I just hope none of you should assume all Chinese drivers = retarded drivers.

Also the statments below isn't true and not too nice without knowing the fact.

"You went to a parking lot filled to the brim with ppl who just got off bikes and started driving in this country"

All I could say is...they didn't have a good/responsible driving teacher...because some of them are focusing on how to meet the minimum requirement and passing the driving exam/getting the license, but not learning "HOW TO DRIVE!"

This is the reason I decided against getting a bike last year. I trust my own driving, but FOBs would kill me. I should also say, "brown" FOBs are just as bad as Chinese FOBs.

I guess some people drive slow, and don't react as fast as other people but hey, they pass the test and they hold a G class license.

Don't blame the driver, he/she just has enough rights to drive on the road as anyone else that owns a G class license.

Sometimes, it is better to be safe then sorry. While I do agree that people should drive with more clear thought and conscience (such as entering highway from a ramp, speed up and merge in rather then wait for a clear traffic cause that ain't gonna happen) but hey, we ain't police and as road drivers ourselves, as long as we drive safe ourselves, that's all we can ask for.

Charles...

I have to argue that point.

the term accident is used to refer to collisions on the streets today. most (and i did not use the term all) could and should have been easily prevented with better driver skills... most accidents are because of driver error. just because they own a G class license doesn't mean they have the ability to handle a car well. Most drivers don't have the skill to have a license. maybe I should run for premier because I'd make the driver tests tougher and less forgiving. I'd have manditory 2 year testing with a suspension of license for failing the test with a retest allowed only after 90 days .... and yes I'd up the fees so that getting a license is a profitable government venture, then I'd also revamp transit so that thge 90 percent of people that lose their license can still get around.

I'm not saying I'm perfect. I'm just saying not everyone has the same skills. participating in a autocross would humble you to that fact very quickly. anyways, I'm off to write my acceptance speech when you all vote me into office

Jason, that's basically what I said.

I agree with Jason. Ever wonder how Germans can legally drive WAY faster than us yet be safer? Their definition of "skills" is higher than our's, which makes their drivers are much more skilled. It is also expensive (over $1k) to get your license. Driving is *truly* a privilege there, not a right.

In HK, the skill you need is even higher. I remembered there was one place (the entrance to an underground road) had 8 lanes changing into 1 and it was constantly lined up with cars trying to get into that one lane. Lion mountain.

Re: Retard Drivers at Pmall...

my people
2 years ago on Chinese New Years Day...I actually ran outta gas waiting to get out of the parking lot...LOL...I was trying to get out on the North Entrance underground drive way and all my gas rolled to the back of my tank and my engine stalled...LOL...I had to wait for a friend with a tow truck to pull me up the driveway and start it up again...LOL
I remember one time about 2 years ago, there was a guy in front of me in the underground garage, who ran out of gas....... oh wait, was that YOU?!?

j/k just pulling your leg man. I feel your pain.

In Manilla in the Philipine's there is a 13 lane road called Edsa Parkway.

6 lanes one way...

6 lanes the other way...

And one center lane for emergency vehicles, VIP's(Can afford the ticket)..

You can be in the right most lane and turn left across all those other lanes.

Everyone does it...

I freaked out the first time my driver did it...

the only reason these fobs drive slow is probably cuz they are with their family's... i see alot of nice cars up there and alot of riced out cars... usually i see the riced out ones roaring their engines and mufflers underground haha.. it just makes me laugh.. cuz i know their car is a rice box that probably barely makes 18secs haha
