rice???

Hey people, I feel really embarassed asking this question, but hey, at least I'm not scared to ask it. I'm new to all this stuff...In the "car" world, when people say "rice, or ricey", what does that mean? Is it the same as modding or sooping up?? Please don't laugh at this dumb question

everyone has a different opinion on this. to me it is just about anything not functional added to a car. It is also an attitude where these nonfunctional things make a car faster. that is just my opinion though.

to me:
it's when someone puts no thought behind the mods they do..
some things just go great together, some things just never should have been..

cause and effect..form and function..shweet and shyt..

but it's yer ride pal..
if you're proud of it and the options/choices you have made, why give anyone the satisfaction of letting their sarcasm get to ya..
get my meanin'??

Rice is a type of grain, which you can eat when cooked.

A car with 30 million spoilers on it and has 50 million stickers all over it is called ugly...NOT rice.

If rice is a term that will be used to identify a car, then people using that term should be considered rice.

fun to reply to nonetheless.
rice is putting stuff on your car to make it look better and not actually be better
ex. type r sticker on a chevy silverado

Joker
Joker there was a pic of this Ferrari with a Porsche "turbo" logo/sticker on it. It's on the riceboypage.com. As for riced out Porsches, it's the ones that claim turbo but haven't got boost, or the ones with the GT2 kit when it's just a base 911. Making a car something it's not would be rice I guess...mods w/o a purpose, or for the purpose of drawing attention. Like LED windshield washer nozzles, underbody neon, Ractive exhaust, euro lights, dyed interiors, sleeves on stock shocks, cars that look like a make-up case exploded on them...you know, like a black car with yellow wiper arms, red grille, and blue underbody neon, then some stickers in each colour. Does that make sense?
