Roadtrip!?!

Ive got some time off, and I'm really bored, so I was just wondering where everyone would go on a roadtrip for a few days, and what you would do when you were there...

hotel taj mahal is pretty decent. the single bed room have some nice mirrors.

l'appartemente hotel or 'la tour centre-ville' are pretty good if you have a bunch of guys... the large suite... one bedroom.... living room (bring air mattresses).. and a fully functional kitchen... one of those two has a swimming pool at the top with a really nice view of the city...

in regards to clubs in montreal.... they're all pretty generic... except foufounes electriques.. i drive to montreal just to go there.. it's not for everyone though..

if you can't get off early on the friday (Leaving TO at 5-6pm for MTL is too late in my opinion).. you can do guelph/waterloo. university just started.. so there will be some decent parties.. the people will be yonge.. and drinks should be pretty cheap... do guelph one night.. then waterloo the next..

you can also do kingston, but kingston sucks.

london used to be good too.. but i always had a better time in guelph.

got any problems with that? we still live in a free world where we can stand and go where we want to. Anybody else got a problem with the fact that i live in Belgium and post messages on a board located in Toronto? if i wanna be on this board cause it makes me feel comftable that i can talk with people with the same passion, then i will be on that board.

i don't have a problem with it... BE FREE

however.. when people discuss road trips on a toronto based board and are looking for advice... they're usually looking for road trips that they can take.

suggesting a road trip to germany is like suggesting rims on a helicopter pilot forum while discussing blade manufacturers.

if you think you can go where you want, and say what you will, you're living in a dream world. Try going to the whitehouse at 3am and say something in arabic.

he asked where everyone would go if they wanted to go on a roadtrip, so i told which one 'I' would take when i would have free time. for that example of the whitehouse, totally NOT what i mented, which you will probably know yourself. and now back on topic please.

you should probably read the thread again. slowly. you might grasp the point of the thread.

when you said it's a free world and you can go wherever you want, i took it as you thought you had the right to be wherever you want, regardless of private ownership.

-----

dude, if you have three nights off... you can hit up guelph on thursday night (palace used to have cheap night there)... do westernU/london on friday... and then waterloo on saturday. 60-90 minutes driving/day... and you'll hit up three cities.. plus it's all close enough that you can stay in a city if you really had a good time and skip another one... (i don't recommend that though.. you can always go back up the next weekend)
