Which Roger's phone??
I've had the Moto V60 for ~2yrs now and i find that reception sometimes sucks total *** and also some minor minor probs and thinking about getting a new phone.
I just need some opionions on some phones on the ROGER'S network (cuz i have a pretty good plan w/them).
So if you or someone you know is currently w/Roger's w/a pretty new phone (so that i can still buy it, plz dont say "buy phone XYZ" when it's not available anymore) please let me know how it's holding up.
I mainly use in downtown, Scar, Miss.
So please let me know:
1. What phone
2. reception (or lack thereof)
3. function
4. durability/reliability
5. area
6. overall rating (if you could do it all over would you buy this phone again)
Cost of phone will also be taken into consideration.
thx

If your on rogers, I suggest any phone with the 850 Mhz band. Since rogers has added the new 850 towers, there reception has been improved considerably.
I had the V600 for 2 months, until I sold it.
Call up rogers and ask for a hardware upgrade. You could get some good prices on phones.

for sure sony ericsson t637
this is like my 3rd se phone
x426 is so-so, good phone but lack external display, and plus its free for a lot of people so very common among ppl, doesn't stand out
i think the 637 is just a 100bux on hardware upgrade, worth it for sure

i dunno if its me but sony ericssion phones seem like one of the ones that arent as good for reception wise
and screen too, they do not have the best screens, reception not the great
other than that their good,
samsung would be good, all the V series for motorola are good reception wise,
no the 637 is like $200 on 2 year maybe even 3 year, because I have went for the hardware upgrade and got a refurbished v300 for $50 which is good, as well as a good new plan (retention plan).
The x426, v220, are $100 on 2 year, 3 year should be $50,
even though you are paying for the phone even though you can get it free at a dealer outside (am call any chinese mall etc), just think of paying for the phone as paying to keep your phone number and plan
