Rogers Rant again..

For the ones with Rogers.

Have you guys notice something..if you mis-typed an URL or something..
it re-directs you to Rogers search engine (something new i noticed)
- usually it goes to Live search..

Ya, I've noticed that...not a huge annoyance (i'm sure there is a way around it also)...but ya I could see how that could be bothersome

ya, actually I've can't remember if mine was a Rogers page or not, but it definitely goes somewhere (not all the time it seems howeveR)

there might be a way around it, but since all your traffic goes through rogers they can alter things as they wish

use proxy that will help

You should be able to alter what search engine it defaults to in Internet exploder's settings

it's the chair-keyboard interface that's the problem, not rogers. I use rogers and IE7, and it doesn't redirect me anywhere.

well yes it can be changed in the internet browser, but ultimately rogers controls what you send out and what you should get back, after all they control all the traffic. if they want when you type www.google.com they can make it so in returns you get www.yahoo.com
