rust proffed myself

well, since i don't drive the ride in the winter, i decided to try to rust proof it myself....its prolly hard to make a new honda rust, when it is stored ,so theres no point in spending a bill to protect it.......so i did it, and man ,it was easy.i used the aresol can, from crappy tire, costed like 10 with tax..i did under the hood, and in the door jams, well ,under the doors, and in all 4 wheel wells, and i ran out, before i could do under the hood or trunk.but it was easy.....no, its time to buy another can , and get the rest done.......if i used that can wisely, insead of spraying endless amounts in the wheel wells, i would have had anough.....but ,do you recommend to spray under the hood, and trunk

dont complain if your civic starts to rust down the road because you didn't get a shop like Crown to do it, they get into the metal and into the doors.

My new civic had about 10 holes drilled into when they did the Krown rust control. So unless you did the same not likely did you get all the area's needed for protection.

True there is no rust proof job as good as Crown...my car looked like swiss cheese after they were done with it...and the car was dripping for a good week after it...

go to crown

sure they drill your car, but the do it in spots you cant see.....

also, I believe if you have it done with them every year fron new then they have a ten year guarentee against rust or something like that......

I believe the warrenty is for the life of the car as long as it's done every year and the car was rustchecked within 6 months of purchase or in the year the car was made.

You can see the hole but the plug's they use cover them up and it looks like there supposed to be there.

Crown does the best job, they use nice plugs to cover the holes. Definately worth it! and at 90 bucks a steal... well worth it!
