Just saw one today on Highway 7. Followed it all the way to Yonge street and i must say this thing really pulls HARD. The driver stepped on it a few times and the thing just took off. Also corners on rails cuz he took the yonge street cutoff ramp at full speed pretty much. AWESOME CAR!!!

The rear wing is a little too much though...

I question the styling of the WRX.. it looks... boxy... and if I dare go as far as to say.. UGLY.

According to Toronto Star's car review... Suburu had a pretty crappy build quality.. Volkswagen was at the bottom... Honda was 1 step above average. Lexus was top of the list.


Sure it performs nice... but who wants to sit in a car that feels fisher price? I'll even admit.. my honda feels that way sometimes.


I've seen many STIs actually.. oh wait.. they're regular WRXs with STI stickers... Ricey WRXs... That's like Type R Civics that are not really Type R.

I agree, the WRX isnt the prettiest of cars but it can look half decent if modded up right with nice skirts and lowered (i know, i know, lowering this rally car is almost a crime in itself ).

Nice car... my buddy has a 2002, lowered, rims, kit, STi grille + scoop, zerosports stuff (kinda like spoon to us), cusco sway bars, short shift, up pipe, down pipe, Turbo XS chipped, Blitz BOV, and Turbo Timer. Gets about 325 hp out of it.. pretty good, no?

ya that is really good and its only a WRX too my friend that jus ordered his was gonna do that woth is WRX as well but when he heard that the Sti was coming he was just like F it and ordered the Sti instead his car right now is only like 8 mths old

and ya that is msrp 47K but i mean his is off the lot for $50K give or take a few hundred
