it was good because it was something new and twisted.
minus the super crap acting, it had a great plot.

it was sorta like my first time watching 'seven'.

Civic Chick **, then you haven't seen a lot of disturbing movies...

saw has a lot of parallels with lord of the flies... and a few other movies.....

basically.. what you will do.... for survival...... the fact that people take their lives for granted.... that there is no sweet without the bitter... the fragility of civilized behaviour.

i love horror movies.. and i thought SAW was amazing. some parts of it was like "WTF?" but like that movie was REALLY GOOD. i hate horror movies like jason and freddy, that kind of stuff isnt scary at all. stuff that could happen in real life or possibly happen is the scariest... with SAW.. lets just hope some sicko doesnt get any ideas

The premise of the movie was good, as was the story.
However the directing was horrible, and so was the acting. It was pretty obvious it was a low budget movie. If it had been given the full Hollywood treatment with an experienced director, it could've been a classic.

i dont know man, i mean... i think the movie was really good and it did really good in theatres and video. i didnt even know it was low budget.... if u got some hollywood big names and stuff it would just hollywood the whole movie

leonard decaprio or some other teen idol playing adam and like will smith playing the cop and sticking in "yo not in my house u dont do that" or other hood rich lines every so often then like i dunno, who else... lol john travolta playing the doctor...

not saying they arent good actors but.. the movie would just be very different
