if you're from anywhere its not that bad...but like who WANTS or who's goal is it to live in Scarborough?
I'm from clarkson in mississauga which is the mayor hazel proclaimed "armpit" of mississauga...but I got mad love for that place

This is the first link I found off my search and it was from StatCan. But the point was to compare Hamilton to Scarbrough. How else are you going to compare? than stats that are given..
I mean there are many areas in the city, that if you walk in, and they dont know you.. you will be approached.

SOUTH Oshawa is an armpit.. lots of deadbeat rednecks living of social income there.. Sitting on their outdoor sofas @ 11am drinkin beers.. Mullets and transams are still IN around those parts....

I've worked in and near the subsidized housing complexes in the south end and the cops are always parked out front. Some people think it’s gotten a bad name but really there are some truths to it.
Example 1, I worked at a Tim Horton’s long ago when I was going to College in Toronto. A typical day would include a family like described above going to the social office behind where I work, picking up their welfare check and then spending HUGE AMOUNTS OF IT AT TIM HORTONS.
It was annoying, funny and sad because you see these worthless people spend $40 - $50 bucks on donuts, party packs of timbits etc. and their kids are literally wearing rags.
Example 2, since I was the only one who didn’t live in the area, I’d find out the 411 on the area from the girls I’ve worked with. It wasn’t uncommon then that there would be an alert in the neighborhood about thieves and small rival gangs hitting up the area.
The south end isn’t the only “bad” or “welfare” part, a simple stroll downtown Oshawa will paint a picture for you. Also the North End where all the “burbs” and their BMW’s are moving into has a pocket of apartment buildings where **** happens and where people have been killed before.
Put simply this way, I’ve been in Scarb. late at night a lot and have had no problems. I’ve been in Oshawa late at night a lot and have ran into morons looking for trouble.

BAHAHAH cops in sauga dont' do work... they pull over kids because they're in civics and no other reasons...
i got pulled over once because apparently sidemarkers are illegal
cops in 'sauga don't do work, it's a different dynamic of people in sauga tho...
and matt - no way clarkson is as 'armpitty' as hwy10 south of dundas...
now that's straight ghetto
