School was sooooo good to me....today I don't feel like getting up...no prob, no one cares if I'm in class or not. But now that I'm working....every day I must get up and show up to work or else :working: Yeah, it's nice getting paid, but sometimes I just don't think it's worth it...I wanna find another jobby.

I've got an orientation meeting tommorrow, and I'm gonna try to book some tests so that I don't have to take college english and some computer skills course.
I start my first day of class on Tuesday. I'm excited. Can't beleive I'm wanting to go to school. Spend 8 months in the real world with a **** job and no education, and you'll see where I'm coming from.
I'm taking Broadcast Television @ Seneca College @ York campus.

I agree with u bbarbulo, they have no practicality in the real world, cuz i mean realistically what are you going to do with your arts degree when you're done? unless you become a historian and a museum, or a prof or hs teacher, you're gonna be plumb outta luck!

I have english this semester in my high school and when we have essays due i work hard on them and my teacher still either fails me or she gives me a half, seriously i just feel like some teachers are racist cuz its kinda obvious first i get a 8/16 on my first essay then a 6/16 and i worked so hard on them. And now im like getting a 43% thats so bullshit. And i always do my work. Or maybe she dont like me much

Whiners....
When I was in School, (University) I had 6 courses per term, 12 courses a year. (this dropped to 5/term, 10/yr when I got to fourth year) My lectures, labs and tutorials went from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 5:00 with basically only a one-hour lunch. This was for pretty much my entire University undergraduate career. Was it worth it? Definitely. Come to think of it, on a normal day, I work less hours than when I went to school... In second half of forth year, I was at school every day, yes including Saturdays and Sundays. I did a 'Design project' for my thesis.
For all of you in school, all I can say, ENJOY it. After all those classes, I really enjoyed my Friday nights. My university days were some of my best...
Mark.
P.S. for those who are wondering, I studied Mechanical Engineering at U of T. I went to SKULE (TM). Respect the Engineers. They are rowdy for a reason... ERT(Honda)W.
