can someone explain me the significance of religion to the scientific revolution...
i need to know this concept, and i don't get it...its an essay on my exam ,but i need help understanding it...wut points could i use , and if anyone could give me some pointers..that would be great...are thereany philosophers that i could bring up or introduce

ok back in the middle ages the christian religion dictated for europe this is the way the world is...

(I'm not going to explain it just read the bible to find that)

and Scientists like gallelao and Newton discovered by implimenting a rudementary form of the scientific method they had proven the church wrong on several fronts (many that earth was the center of the earth.... religion suffed at these Idea but when science started taking off well the church would slowly accept these facts as fact and they wouldn't be accepted by the populace until the church accepted the fact

so, basically..many people stated to accept science as the new way of thought..and people abandoned religion as the perdominant way of thought....that is why people questioned the scriptures and that is why religion had to incorporate science so that it would not loose all of its followers...is that correct...

if so, what 3 points could i use gatherer..
