Maybe they're waiting to see how well they do in the States before they bring 'em to Canada?? I really like the styling and power of the Tc and wouldn't mind driving around in one!!

The engine isn't crap. Thanks to the higher displacement, it makes 30 more lb/ft of torque than the SiR and 20 more than the RSX Type S. It weighs only 100lbs more than the Civic SiR and 60 or so more than the RSX. Horsepower's not everything. And with the 2L engines its only available at the high end of the RPM range...I forget who said it on this board, but I thought it was a good point: "Torque wins races, Horsepower wins arguements"
Its also cheaper than both of them, yet it will still be a well built, reliable car (like all toyotas). The tC is a very tempting car.

<< would rather wait for the fit/jazz from Honda... then make my own dynamite fit b00yah! for those who don't know a dynamite fit is a Mugen project with a K20A stuffed in the little Fit. figure I can make one for under $20K USD, with 220 hp.

oh, and 'tard... torque and HP are basically the same thing, they are mathematical derivatives of each other at a given RPM. so don't give me this shyt "torque wins races". learn what you're talking about before putting your fingers to the keyboard.
