Sept 11-CN TOWER
I was walking out of Sunoco friday morning and notice front page of Toronto sun saying that 60-70% belive CN Tower will be "terriost" target this sept 11.
I dont think so my self. Eveyone is vonderable to terriost. I think we are fine with the USA.
What do you think?

It's crossed my mind many times. As Canada is not a major player, I think the risk would be thought too great for too little international effect.
A terrible thought, in a any case.
They are sick, sick, sick, not to mention unimaganitive. So many people (leaders) who thought wronged have found creative and peaceful ways to share their plight with the international community.

What do you think?
I think it would be just as sad and shocking a tragedy as last year.
Do I think it might happen to the CN Tower? I think it might happen.
I think my hands would be tied though.

I think we are as likely to get hit as anyone else. We are a very good "friend" to the USA and a very big trading partner. The people that do these things are big on symbolism and hitting the CN Towwer would make and impact. Not as big an ecenomical impact as hitting our natural resources ( poisoning fresh water etc.) but still an impact.

I think they would hit because we are partnered with the US. To them anyone not on "their side" is the enemy. right? And with all those people arrested from canada form sept 11 does not look good! I cant belive its been a year. It was almost like yesterday...
But its so big that it feels like it phony, like the movies or somthing .Weird stuff man.

Well, I just think that Canada is really a wonderful country and that Canada does not have any large army's or anything to even protect ourselves, in my own opinion. Its straight out not fair to attack Canada. Especially taking out our main thing that Toronto is known for. But then again, some people have no honour or any type of logical thinking. I just hope nothing happens, why can't we all just get along??

If it's going to happen, it might not be on the 11th. It could happen anytime. What are you gonna do? There's nothing you can do. Just live your life as you normally would, and pray that our country's military is alert and prepared at all times.

How do you think I feel? I'm gonna be on a plane in about 12 hours hehe. Not Sept 11, but close enough.
CN Tower won't be attacked, I am quite sure of that. The reason is, not because we don't bully people or because we are freinds with the US. It's because Canada is the largest multi-cultural country in the world. Well Toronto and Vancouver at least. We allow so many people from so many countries to live here and improve thier lives, as well as ours. This includes people from the largly populated countries of the middle-east. If there were a way to check it out, I'm sure you would find many people in this country who have family histories with extremist groups in one form or another over the past 50 years or so.
What I'm trying to say is that Canada has helped out a lot of people from different cultures, with different beliefs and morals. We don't tell people "you're Canadian now, so act like it!", we accept people's cultures and their life before Canada. Who would have it out for us if we've done all that to help some of their freinds and family have a higher standard of life.

Yeah man it's scary. **** I still haven't packed yet haha!
I'm going to Porta Plata, Dominican so I'm not that worried I guess. But planes just freak me out since the past few years with all the **** that's gone on.
In about 12 hourse from now I should be strapped in having a drink, pinching some flight attentdants ***, and getting ready for take-off hehe.
