You could be a security guard shift coordinator, or a PI

I am a security guard working for a big company and my shift coordinator dosent make alot more than us guards, ( i dunno what he makes exactly i have never asked him thats his f*uckin business ). But if u want to be a PI u could make alot of money depending on the size of your clientele and the severity of your investigations...

I think location would play a big role in how much you would make as a PI as well.

there's a guy at my work place who works part time to support his work as a PI/private security type person. Just depends on when you're needed.

He was hired to "monitor" a strike at some company. He basically sat in his car for 10hr "shifts", making sure nothing got outta hand. Did that gig for ~3months but made like 20Gs.

Dont know if he was BS'ing but he did say he was working crazy # of hours which could contribute to the big payout.

Canada's bureaucracy (unelected gov. agencies) is being increasingly contracted out to smaller companies. Security in this area is becoming greater importance all of the time.

I was watching CPAC the other night, and this seems to be an increasingly discussed topic. (Maybe this is due to threats of the PM getting beheaded.)

In my uninformed opinion, I would guess that there is a lot of potential in that field.
