As long as there is quick cash to be made, there will always be corruption in the police force

i say for offenders like this, the family should have the option to get retribution

1) stoning him to death
2) firing squad

those are my 2 cents
thankfully we do not do either of these as we have better values than countries like Saudi Arabia.

a very good friend of mine was arrested and found guilty when he was 17 under YOA. The cops said that his record would be sealed when he was 18. They lied. Regardless is stays for 5 years.

He thinks getting arrested was one of the best things to happen to him as after that he decided no more. He earns close to 6 figures with a job he would not be able to get were he to still have a record.

when teenagers are shooting each other and no one cares, it only shows how broken the system is.

One of the rare cases where a deliquent actually turned his life around. I like reading about that.

Too bad it doesn't happen with all the petty thugs that have been arrested.

he wasn't allowed out of the house except for school and his community service for an entire year.

i think parenting has a lot to do with how you turn out.

the demise of the family unit coupled with the removal of parental powers has caused this stupidity...i had a healthy respect for my fathers hands and therefore foreknowledge of what would find me if i listened to my friends or my inner dumb a$$.

We should bring back the stocks for these kids. They're out there trying to be tough and gain "respect" for their idiocy. If they ended up in the stocks at a big intersection with buckets of rotten fruit sitting around and a live feed, it would teach them and all the kids who saw it a lesson in what a fool really is.

making everyone do 2 years of police duty (as opposed to how countries force military duty) would be my suggestion.

Give everyone a gun, and make everyone involved in keeping the streets how they want them to be.

Vary nice, i like that idea. Those on duty would have a tracker on themselves and the weapon.

well in trinidad, its the gangsters shooting at the gangsters so why arrest them...they;re doing the job for the police, just let them kill eachother off.

its not random people involved in the shootings, its those involved in the gangs and the drugs and the money making, the robbing, the beef.

the first thing you to do oppress people is take away their power to fight back, there is a reason we're not allowed to stand up for ourselves but are allegedly forced to call the police.
