Should I trade in my 98 for this?
My Civic has been an awesome car. Totally problem free, fun to drive and cheap to maintain. However, it's 7 years old and showings it's age and starting to cost me money to maintain. I was planning on selling it this fall, paying off some debts and taking my wife's 03 Civic. She was going to buy an RSX.
Lately I have been thinking of getting rid of my car now and she can get her RSX when the lease is up on her Civic. I'll have a newer car again, but I'll still owe money on it. I found this EP3 at the dealer I got our cars from.
What would you do? Keep the current car and be debt free until I can get the wife's 03. Or, trade my car in for this and be paying for it for the next few years.
2002 Honda Civic SiR with 48227 km. $17000. I've always liked these cars and they have really come down in price.

how attached are you to your car. i mean if you were gonna sell it anyways, I guess not that attached, so yeah, go for it. but 1st make sure clear title and no electrical gremlins in it's history!!

But anyway i dont get how ppl can come on this board and ask for opinions, i mean its gonna be your car so go for wut u really want. Its not like yer gonna take our advice anyway lol :P

Mike, a minivan so soon???
You'll never hear the end of it from me if you get one of those things.
Seriously, I'd rather be DEBT-FREE than have to OWE someone money, especially if its over a car.

I'd even consider a very low k 99-00 SiR if I could find one at a Honda dealer. I've liked the "Minivans" ever since they came out, but at 25g's, kinda pricey. Now there's lots of them for around 17g's and that makes them more appealing to me.

i saw go for it... its nice.. but if i were thinking about a new car now.. i'd stay away from a honda... not that i dunt like it but i want more luxury... and comfort.. and a nice sedan.. acura or lexus
