as long as you continue your deal with me and aren't pullin my chain, i say stick with your car and become debt free.

It feels good when you fully OWN something YOURSELF. Plus you just bought a house and all, it aint worth it. Keep what you got and chill

before u make a stupid decision think about it.

you said it yourself when they came out they were 25g's and now they are like 17 thats a TON of money that it depreciated in. yes i kno u loose 25 percent of the dealer lot but that is still alot and since those cars arent really preferd in the first place do you really think it will hold its market value say 1 or 2 years from now?

you might say oh i will keep it for a very long time or oh i will not sell the ep3 if i get it. thats pretty b.s. if u ask me cuz u are selling ur 98 cuz its so called starting to cost u money. what makes u tink u wont the ep3 in anothe 3 years???

dont take my words in a bad way. i am just trying to avoid the hassle's and bull****s you will be going thru without actually thinking about it fully.

imo i would just keep the ek. do a 00 conversion and drop a b18c1 and a full suspension out of a type r 5 bolt or a gsr full disc.
and that should pretty much take care of the maintanence portion of your vehicle. and it will only cost u max 5 grand and you will be more happier with it now that its modded and depending on how much u make a month or a year u will be able to pay of that debt in less than a year rather then gettin another car and making monthly payments.

The wife put the kibosh on it already anyway. I'll take over the lease on her 03 and she'll buy a new RSX Type-S. I'll have a nice 7th Gen and an RSX to play with on the weekends.

hey man... you can always do a somewhere-in-the-middle compromise... how about trading in your 98 si for a 00 sir?

2 years newer, not as expensive as an ep3, and you'll have most of the upgrades you want...

I would rather become debt free than continue onto another car, regardless what car I am going to get. At the least, I will try to be debt-free for a good year or two before I decide to buy another car, or trade in for that matter.

Trade in is highly unlikely gonna happen to me. Gf has a car so that's two already. If anything, I will buy another car or trade in hers. Keep my hatch as a complete off-road car. A permanant toy for me to play and modify.

I woulda gone with the SiR.
I looked into it but couldn't get approved on financing...
But they let me get a brand new car.
Makes no sense to me....

I agree about the RSX though. I'd go for an RSX Premium, but not a base...

Prelude in white with blacked out headlights...

I'd just wait and become debt free and see wait till 2006 Civic and check that out since there's some hype going on about it. You could possibly say in the future you'd wish u got those instead.
