Sleeping problems

I have some really bad sleeping habits, can anyone help me at all I really need sleep. I was over at this chicks house on the week end and the bags under my eyes were so bad she thought I was wearing make up as a joke. When I told her I wasn't she was concerned because I looked so drawn out. Help me please:cry:

Drink a warm glass of mild before getting into bed! Why do you have sleeping probs? Just can't sleep, or just get carried away doing stuff and then not enough sleep?

Some people have too much adrenaline! When they go to bed they are still pumped.
When I have a lot of **** on my mind I can't go to sleep. I constantly think about **** I have to do. Especially if I'm doing things to my car. This is where I get a lot of my ideas. Don't fight it! Just do what your body tells you.

Also try to avoid caffeine and smoking.

I've seen my doctor about this and he said it's all in the amount of adrenaline that your body produces. My body produces too much! It is not a bad thing it is just something some of us have.

There's also sleep aids. I've tried some and they don't work for me. But that is me!

i agree with daquel...when you have a lot of things in your mind it is hard for you to sleep. sometimes you dont have anything on your mind but you just can't relax because your body is not used to it is also part of not able to sleep. i have that problem and im afraid that i might have bags soon.

whats Fight Club a few times anight and it will help you go to sleep
but be carefull it back fired on me there for awhile (when i first started to watch it) you might get Insomina
but once that happens just watch it more and it will pass and BOOM sleeping like a baby
plus you can think about how true that movie is

I get 5 hours sleep on the regular week days nothing wrong with drinking coffee......seriously if you really need sleep I'd suggest start reading a computer book 6 pages and you'll be out of it.

I too have sleeping problems but it's cause I have to trick my body 5 days a week that it's time to sleep. I work nights from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am and get home an hour later. Trying to sleep in the middle of the day when it's 20 degrees out, sun shinning, eating dinner at 9:00 am is not the easiest thing in he world. Your body needs to have a regular pattern of sleep, if you can make a set schedule then it is easier to sleep.

exactly!! aint nothing like smoking a bowl to get the seratonin production started. but it might also make u want to sleep in that extra couple of hours in the morning.. its all about willpower.

eating a banana will also trigger seratonin release.
good luck!

I just sit around and listen to music and think about stuff. I used to smoke a lot of weed and dont' like it anymore so that's out, the adrenaline thing make's sense because I do have a problem with to much adrenaline (there's nothing like having your heart pounding like a race piston when your doing nothing stimulating at all....). I can always feel my heart beating it's weird. I've even tryed jerking off before I try and sleep but that just get's weird when your jerking off just to go to sleep. Ive stayed up for 2 day's straight before and all that happened was I slept for 1 whole day then got more fuked up. Thanks for the help
