hey i was wondering if theres a place where u can get smaller size music. i juss bought an mp3 player and im usin kazza and i can only fit 5 songs on the disk any help plss

First of all, DON'T use Kazza.....use Kazza Lite (I think ver.# 2.41 is out). No spyware and ads. Faster than the regular Kazza.
Uninstall the old Kazza completey....then install the New version. Use Google to find it. Should be around 3 mb in size.

Second, IF (and I say IF, because dl'ing songs from the net is illegal... ) .anyways.......IF you do DL songs, what is the sample rate? I bet you are dl'ing at least the 128 and higher ones. Look for 98 and lower. If your listening to the music on an MP3 player, you won't notice the sound quality diffference too much. You'll be able to fit way more songs at the lower bit rates.

By the way, what player did you get? Did it come with ONLY an internal storage, or can you buy memory cards to increase the music you can store on it?

Only 5 songs? What do you have 32 meg? At 192kbps thats sounds about right. Like pulovr said, as long as its externally upgradeable, just get some expandable memory for it, its so cheap now anyways.

If he DL's the 96 or lower ones, he'll be able to get about 1-2 hours of music on it.

Get a bigger card if it IS upgradable. Even a 128mb card in most formats....ie...CF..SD ect.... is around $50 nowadays.

Yeah, lower the bitrate....the difference isn't that big...

if the songs you get are a good recording you can lower the bit rate of them by a lot... you definatly wont notice it

id would rather suggest the MP3 cd player or an MD
holds alot more music compared to the MP3 player
