So it's been almost 3 weeks since I quit smoking cold turkey, and I had a revelation last night.

Regardless of what anti-smoke ***** will tell you, smoking actually does make you cool.

I haven't had any cravings, but I miss the actual act.

I long to drive up to a friend's house, get out of my car knock on his door, light up a belmont and inhale deeply.. and feel the smoke caress my lungs ever so gently.

Or I was at the bar last night (as was the duty of every true canadian) outside while some of my friends were smoking and really, it did make them cooler than me.

i never said smoking was intelligent, i merely said it was cool.

my friend's grandfather lived to 89 and he used to smoke a pack a day and get drunk all the time.

A lot of problems from smoking are genetics.

I quit and I'm not going to start smoking again, just because it's cool, doesn't mean I'll do it. After all, I drive a compact economy car, how cool can I really be? haha

it makes you FEEL cooler... like if you were at a bar and you were the designated driver... dead sober. and all your friends are on the dance floor making sloppy attempts at dancing and picking up chicks... and you're standing there all by yourself... emptyhanded. you'd only WISH you smoked and hellz yea to belmonts smoking is really a social crutch kinda like alcohol... except smoking is addictive and you need it all the time afterwards.

I wish I was hella strong like you BruceFee so I could quit cold turkey too.

there was an old man in oakville whos like 100 and sumthing.. smoked since he was a teen still smokes cigarettes and cigars i dun if he died yet

when he was 60 he asked the doctor (younger than him) what he could do to live longer.. he said quit smoking.... now what does the doctor have to say? the younger doctor died before him ahah.. it was funny when the old man said it

Smoking is like a grease for social situations, you want to make some new friends go bum a smoke... I agree that it is cool in one narrow sense but in every other it sucks.
