Diplomas are fine if you are doing something hands on. My diploma in Business got me no where. Good thing it wasn't what I wanted to do....

There are lot of Hondas in the lot actually and only a few Corolla/Matrix. I guess people dont want to own a car they build and see hundreds of everyday.

Lots of higher end car though. Many of the young guys I work with still live at home and making $30+ an hour they buy nice cars. Lexus IS, STi, Z06 Vettes, Porsches, Bimmers, Hummers, you name it.

a guy I know got a job when he was about 18 working at Ford while still living at home with his parents. He was driving a new M3 at that age.

Very nice...living at home banking those paychecks would be a dream come true for most guys.lol.

so true, did my deploma at durham, co-op, and 70% of the course was hands on labs in data communications and systems admin some programming. out in 3 years and heavily involved with the stuff i learned in school at my work (morgan stanley & shoppers drug mart).
