That's why i didn't go.. most of the cars are hibernating this time of year. Why they chose December for an auto show in Toronto is beyond me.

I almost wanted to call the show domesticfest. The quality of cars was lacking in IHO. Only a few US plates...especially cuz of the storm around NYC.
I much preferred the darknights show. More stuff like 3 on 3 b-ball.....RC car racing.....BMX and skateboarding....sound competitions etc....better value for the dollar.

Where, who was it...I know someone who's doing a custom setup for ~$5500USD and that's stock internals Do you know of a better place to get in touch with? Dyno results? Components like fuel controls and ECU "fooling"?

Ya the show was somewhat of a flop..., although there were some nice cars. I think the reason for having the show during December was to try and extend the car season..., who knows???

Nope, diff't guy. Silver Si Veloz originally from TO, went to school w/ me in Waterloo, and is now is Seattle. He was my roomie last term I was there. That's exactly what he was getting 5-8 psi (8 after tuning) and about the same power. Just got quoted $5500USD for no I/C and manual boost control. I told him to scrap the project...that much cash for a non-i/c turbo and stock internals is ridiculous. JoTech (Jojo Callos's shop) in Texas has done a similar setup. Independent tuners seem to be coming to the same conclusion...200WHP is very doable for stock internals.

Yea the show was kinda disappointing...not too much to see...but still this year they increased in the amount of ppl going..last year had about 25000 and this year they said they had roughly 35000...pretty decent amount of people considering there weren't as many cars as last year...

Cars were kinda boring...everything looked the same..nothing really stood out..

i found the show floor to be poorly organized with small aisles in some places and big wasted spaces in others - the cars were lined up in a boring way with little imagination in terms of displays of individual cars - too bad no car clubs had displays either, especially the tcc - there wasnt much stuff for sale (i was looking for a shock tower brace) and to top it all off we were gouged for $20 - that's $8 more than any other show!! i normally love going to car shows but i was really disappointed in this one
