This looks like its turning into a Xbox VS PS3 debate.

Xbox won't flop its already here to stay, but in all honesty PS3 will do better and it doesn't matter when its released. The following is so Huge in Asian markets that its sales in the US are just a mere blip. Everyone knows the X-box failed in Asia whereas the PS3 won't and not only that, the PS3 will still have a strong following here in Northa America therefore I believe it will sell more units.

I've played so many Xbox 360 games lately and to be honest I am not impressed with the gameplay of many of them. Some games look amazing, but heck even the praised Oblivion game I found to be a bit boring.

ya, i really think sony is killing it with pushing back the release date... i'm sure ps3 will be good, but i don't know HOW much better than 360...

it doesn't even need to be better, the Sony Playstation name will sell it. PS2 is outselling the 360 off and on based on monthly figures....that's sad for microsoft

Yes flop. Will it become obsolete like the Dreamcast? No, I doubt that since MS has money to burn.
Moe-Mentum summed it up pretty nicely.

Around here I know many people that are waiting for the PS3 because its newer, therfore better. As well the local game shops pretty much say that most people are waiting for the PS3. I remember when the PS2 launched people were spending $600 on it w/o a fuss. So whats another $150 to these people.

The casual gamer will go wait for a PS3 since it has the best name recognition and the name will sell it alone.

I haven't seen any news about the PS3 delay being officiai, so if someone can post a link please do!
