so much pain rightnow

oh wow i got my tounsils out and im in so much pain
whenever i shallow i feel a big lumpy ball and it kills so much
holllllllllllllly omg im gonan faint

codine is a powerful pain killer, and I think it's addictive too! Just don't swallow...spit instead. No really, have a spit bucket, and just keep spitting into it so you don't have to irritate your throat. What I do when I'm in pain is just sleep...you won't even know it.

I had mine taken out with local anesthetic and then i walked to the train station and went home.

well some folks hurt more than others.

my friend is afraid because her doctor told her she will be awake. they will not put her to sleep....i should tell her that she can get that.

She may not be able to get put to sleep, it really depends on alot of factors.....blood pressure, heart rates etc can effect if you can be put under or not. If she wants to be put under, have her ask why her doctor did not want her under, and if her doctor is ok with putting her under......and also, if she is not satisfied with her doctors explainations....then get a second opinion.

I don't like being unconcious while people work on me.

don't trust them.

i figure they're more likely to do a better job if i'm keeping an eye on them rather than snoozing.

I've heard recovery time is quicker for local anesthetic...

the only reason I can see why is because while you're knocked out, they must butcher you.

why else would they want to knock you out.
