Is it custom built or did you buy before build type thing? Is the house attached at both/one side like normal town houses?

I guess you could say its custom. There was/is a big map of the site at the model home. You pick the lot you want, whether a town or a single home, then the floor plan. Each individual floor plan in my case also had 5 or separate bedroom area plans. We picked one with the big ensuite bathroom an upper laundry. We also got to pick the colours and material of the floors, paint, carpet, cabinets, ceramic, etc. Our kitchen was upgraded with a few options, gas fireplace, luxury ensuite and a bunch of little things.

Here is a link the the builder.

Losani is a very popular and reputable builder in our area. I know several people who own their homes and all are happy.

Sheeeeet 4.7% for a five year fixed is pretty good man! Rates are on the rise - your timing was dead on.

They build great homes. 2 of my good friends own building companies. Losani homes and Maitland. Both awsome and luxurious houses. Good choice MIKEY

SWEET DEAL MICH,

my girl and I are saving for our new house too. we're getting married mar 2007 in st lucia and it's lock down on money till our yard ready. Prolly going into new town house too. got to start somewhere right? buy low, sup it up(wet bar paint ect) then sit on it for a few years and then flip er for more money and put towards someting bigger. all the best to you guys, owning your first yard is a huge deal cause it's like a sense of accomplishment and gratification.

cheers yo,

congrats Mike, when's it suppossed to be ready?. Marty and I will start looking for a townhouse once were married, going to stay in our condo for another year and half, cheaper that way. Still have to sell that one then buy another lol. Were looking at going that way too, Grimsby/Stoneycreek, I like it out there.

Homes are so much cheaper here then in the GTA. To get a similar town in the GTA would have cost close to another 100g's. Our builder has 2 or 3 subdivisions in Grimsby. We looked there originally and the ones we looked at were very nice.

We should be moving in at the end of May. I can't wait.

Damn sweet setup for your yard. Even when it's fenced you're not gonna be looking into someone else's backyard (at least for a while). Nice.
