loooking good mikey..
the finish looks pretty standard these days, I assume Vintage brand hardwood flooring, and the tiles look like the generic ones put down on all new homes.
Still allot better than some other homes I have seen.

Sorry to interrupt; I don't want to hijack the thread but can anyone here (reading this thread, duh) advise about home-buying?
There's so many options out there but I am wondering who is the best candidate t o talk to about buying your first home. I was just searching through the chit-chat forum and came across this thread. My mind has been on this topic recently. My rent went up and I'm getting tired of paying rent.
My problem is that I might want to change careers in the future. Anyway, do you know who the best groups are to talk to about different options for buying? I mean, not the typical banks, or 25% or 10% downpayment policies but some of those organizations who help out people with less equity. My credit is okay and my current job pays adequately (I guess; we can all make more, right?).
I apologize for interrupting the thread but I didn't think I should start a new one.

^ Go check out one of the many Home Buyers Workshop being held thoughtout the GTA. Very informative and everything you need to know about home buying and what you will encounter leading up to the closing. We wouldn't have done it without going to these workshops.
Check out www.HomeBuyerAcademy.ca through Remax.
Good luck!

The Remax class is supposed to be very good. You could also just go to your bank and pre-apply for a mortgage. That way you would know exactly how much you will get and the Mortgage person can usually answer most of your questions.
